Updating Watermark

I've changed my watermark and have selected the new watermark under multiple galleries. However, it doesn't appear to be updating my galleries with the new watermark, it still displays the old watermark.

Is there a way to force the new watermark to populate into the galleries?

    Hi Randy,

Can you provide a link to some of the galleries in question? Normally you can change the watermark a number of different ways, I would start by going into the gallery and clicking on Tools -> Many Photos -> More -> Watermarking and then on the next screen, click on the watermark you want, 'Select All' and then finally 'Watermark' and a dialogue box will come up saying that we are watermarking your photos. Are you trying to change them by going into your Gallery Settings?

    Standing by,

You will have to do each gallery like Ryan says. You only changed the watermark under gallery settings
and only new uploads will have the new WM.

When you change the watermark in the Gallery Settings, if the little box underneath is checked that says 'apply to existing photos in gallery', it will change the watermark in the gallery and not just apply to new photos.

Here's one gallery. I was trying to update multiple galleries. I know when I do one gallery it will give me the option to update existing photos, but I'm not seeing it in the multiple photos screen. I have a lot of galleries and it will take some time to do one gallery at a time. I want to update all my galleries at once.

    Thanks for the prompt responses!!

    Hi Randy,

Thank you for getting back to me.

Unfortunately, the watermarking feature with multiple galleries does not work, I've tried it myself. You will have to change, add or remove the watermark on a gallery by gallery basis, I'm sorry.

On a side note, great pictures of Night Ranger! I just saw them in concert with Foreigner and Journey and they rocked hard!

Let me know if I can do anything else for you :)

    With best regards,

    That does suck.

Thanks for the compliment. I can't tell you how many people have gone to Journey's Eclipse concert. I get that from a lot of people.

You can read my review at http://sacandbeyond.com/2011/10/17/journey-brings-eclipse-tour-to-sleep-train-amphitheater/

Also, the lead singer for Journey tweeted and had my link to the photos! Pretty cool.

Got to go. Looks like I have some work to do. :-(

    Thanks again.

I've been a life long Journey fan and Arnel is light years better than Steve Perry was, he has better range and he's not a cancer to the band. I saw them when they kicked off their tour here in Salt Lake City, Foreigner was lifeless and acted like they didn't want to be there. Night Ranger opened up and I don't know that I've seen a band rock that hard in a long time. In the end, I was there for Journey and they were amazing, they have had new life since Arnel joined the band and they really made the best of it.

Actually, you can change the watermark in multiple galleries at once assuming that you used keywords in an organized fashion. For example, I have lots of softball galleries and the one thing they all have in common is the keyword "softball". Therefore, if I start by going to the keyword view and apply a watermark there it covers multiple galleries at once.
