Beach Patrol

Took this shot during our trip to Hawaii last couple of weeks. This one in Kauai on Thursday. Would have been a much better shot if there were actually some surf that day or maybe if she had a surf board but I still thought the shot was kind of cool. What yall think?

Look at it cropped just slightly above her knee below that puddle.
The light on your model makes this shot interesting.

I agree the lighting on the model makes the photo interesting.
What created the highlights in her backside?

Zoom... While working on this photo, I really liked the way it looked when I was zoomed in because you could really see the lighting and tones on the skin and is why I kind of liked the pic. I didn't bother to crop it from the original though. Here is a tighter crop that will hopefully show off the tones on the skin a little better. This is one of those shots that look much better at larger scales.

BTW, the highlights on her back were made by another small tidepool that was behind her. It made for a nice, natural reflector. I did dogde her backside a bit in post to bring them up a bit. BTW, it had just rained so her skin was wet. That made the reflections on her skin pop a bit. I think you can see it better in this new crop.
