Harvard On The Bayou

My oldest attends Nicholls State University, which has been dubbed "Harvard on the Bayou" by the locals. We made the trek last weekend to attend their homecoming game and festivities.

Its really hard to believe she's already a senior!

...and...Id like to again thank those of you who prayed and hoped for her. It has been a tough ordeal. We still have no diagnosis. All of the "help" hasnt helped. We enjoy each day as it presents itself...keeping our fingers crossed and praying that what she has had to go through will be a distant memory soon!

Great series, and very glad that things seem to have gone away as mysteriously as they appeared. Also wishing that it all becomes just a distant memory.

Noooooooo!!!

It is a ring she designed herself. She did some modelling for a jewelry store last year for some billboards that they have between Houma and New Orleans. They actually called her back recently for another photoshoot.

The ring is a quadrafoil which is a symbol that is significant to her sorority. Here is a shot of the three of them making the same shape with a heart inside. I dont get it either, but Im told that this means a lot if you are Phi Mu? BTW I think the jeweler made out like a bandit selling these to her "sisters".

She is still experiencing all the same problems. I wish that it had gone away.

Hey Elaine. Those recent shots of your son are awesome. He is growing so fast. I swam in High School and can appreciate his hard work. It's a great sport though and really gets you in good shape!

No E ring here. She will graduate in the spring, but still has some school in her future!!!

A tad more formal?

Im not really sure what happened. I was at an elementary school play and the next thing I remember.......
