As promised in my other thread http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=208443", here are the locos that were in the shed yard.
The loco shed has had a new extension built which doubles its original length.
This is the entrance to the extension as seen from the station car park. The ground floor contains a machine room and a gallery is being built to allow the public the opportunity to safely see work in progress. When opened, this should provide people with an insight to the incredibly hard work undertaken to keep these locomotives in good working order.
SR Urie S15 No. 30506. Built as a freight engine and released to traffic in 1920. Currently owned by the Urie Locomotive Society.
The boiler has been removed and is in work at Crewe. The frames of the loco will enter the works for refurbishment shortly. The tender is being built from new and should be completed this year. It is hoped that this loco will join the operational fleet next year.
SR Maunsell Lord Nelson Class No. 850 'Lord Nelson'. Built as an express passenger loco and released to traffic in 1926. Currently owned by the National Railway Museum.
This loco is on loan and forms part of the current operational fleet.
New build Peppercorn Class A1 No 60163 'Tornado'. Built to fill a missing gap as all the original members of this class were scrapped following withdrawal by BR. Its number follows on from the series used by this class. Released to traffic in 2008. Currently owned by the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust.
This loco is on loan and forms part of the current operational fleet.

BR Riddles Standard Class 9F No. 92212. Built as a freight locomotive and released to traffic in 1959. Withdrawn from traffic by BR in 1968, barely 9 years old! These locos were also used on passenger service. Notably on the Somerset and Dorset Railway (now closed), hauling the Pines express over the stiff grades of the Mendips.
Although this loco is considered oprational, the connecting rods and valve gear are disconnected.
This loco is currently privately owned.

BR Riddles Standard Class 7 No. 70000 'Brittania'. Built for express freight and passenger use and released to traffic in 1951. This class of locomotive made significant impact in the Eastern Region by accelerating the passenger timetable.
This loco is owned by the Brittania Locomotive Company and is on loan for use during the Autumn Spectacular.
BR Riddles Standard Class 5MT No. 73096. Built as a general purpose locomotive, at home on goods, secondary passenger and freight trains. Released to traffic in 1955.
This locomotive was recently withrawn from the operational fleet as it's boiler certificate had expired. It currently awaits overhaul.
Privately owned.
LNER Gresley Class A4 No. 4492 'Dominion of New Zealand'. A top link express passenger locomotive. The 'skirts' have been re-fitted and it is painted in Garter Blue. This represents how the class looked before WW2.
Privately owned and on loan for the Autumn Spectacular.
BR Class 33 Crompton Diesel No. 33 053. Released to traffic 1961.
These were used on the Southern Region of BR but wandered to other regions particularly in their final years of service. The push/pull variations were particularly useful for moving EMU trains over non-electrified lines. Bournmouth to Weymouth being a good example.
Privately owned and active on the day.
LMS Class 11 Diesel No. 12049. Built at Derby between 1949 and 1952 to replace ageing steam shunting locomotives.
Privately owned and in operation to shunt the shed yard.
There are still many locomotives which are not in the shed yard as space is at a premium with three main line support coaches having to be housed here.
