Storm front moving in over Chicago from Lake MI

Revisiting some of my photos that I never processed. I always go after the big shots then forget about everything else I shot the same day. This same day I got a double lightning strike on Lake MI and ignored this one.. but now, it gets it's 2 seconds of fame.



This is the "big" shot from the same day, not sure if I ever posted it here...

That second one is AMAZING! They are both incredible but given a choice of lightning bolts or not, most people choose lightning bolts.

This is of that June 30th storm over Michigan, Indiana and parts of Illinois, isn't it? That lightning storm raged 26 straight hours in South Haven, where we were staying for a couple days.
