It is that fun time of year again! Do we really need excuses to share cute photos of our kids?

Share your photos of your little princesses and warriors! :lust

I'll start with mine:
1. Princess from India (or something like that. Whatever she was, she was cute!)

2. The purple angel (Haha, she did her own makeup.)

3. And my warrior.

Your children have the most gawwwwjusss green eyes :)

Very cute!! Hopefully some from me later - sadly, a bad cold meant the planned pre-shoot didn't happen, so will just have to be boring and try to get them tonight when she's heading out for the sugar haul....

Not our photographic best, but I got home late-ish and she was desperate to head out so I was shooting a reluctant moving target in failing light!

Some kind of "sparkly gold lion" apparently :)

She was sad that several people claimed the 13 year olds were "too old" to be trick-or-treating - it's her favorite holiday of the year! I think we may have to borrow a little kid next year for her to shepherd... ;)

I can't! He looks so grown up! That just means you need to post more often so I can keep track of your grandkids. (Wait... who am I to talk? I haven't posted most of the summer, hehe.)

    Great photo! Very Swartzy-esque!

    Love the Green Lantern!

So jealous of you who managed to get your kids to hold still long enough to, you know, set up a flash rolleyes1.gif Seriously, I had to do everything short of chain mine to the porch to get her to let me take ANY shots!

And yeah, they are growing up way, way, WAY too fast. :cry Each age and stage is fun, but boy-oh-boy does it start to accelerate once they hit adolescence - no doubting at all that mine is 13 going on 25.... eek7.gif

I was just lucky... The school had a costume ball on Friday, so I warned them far in advance that they would all need to give me at least 10 frames before the ball... haha. (I always give them a guess of how many I need and they count them, otherwise I'll go all day. You know how it is!)

Diva, isn't funny how the kitty costumes evolve over time... So much more sophisticated....

YES!!!! We have indeed gone through a variety of feline costumes here. There was the 2nd grade Cheetah, the 4th grade Halloween Sparkle Kitty (which I do believe were some of my first shots posted here - dang, was that really four years ago?!), and now the sophisticated Gold Lion.... In fact, she chose this mask (Pier 1 of all places - she fell in love with it!) with the initial idea of doing one of the "Cat Nurses" from Dr Who (that itself a migration from going as the 10th Doctor himself), but then her group of friends abandoned the Dr Who theme and she wound up trick-or-treating with a different bunch of friends anyway (all change here in 8th grade - I can't keep up!). Like I said, it's all moving waaayyyy too fast for me right now :help iloveyou.gif

You have to be very very very very fast Diva! I just use flash on camera and bounce it around...it's the running around the house shots that are challenging, especially with a slow focusing 5D....Laughing.gif. 13 you say? Eeeeek.....what an age.

We did this in 5 minutes. She was actually helping me with my school video project, and luckily it coincided with Holloween!

Uh...that's a self portrait on the left. Sailor Moon VS. Jade, there was a fight scene, then a death scene, haha.
    Hopefully, I get an A -_-

BIFTY (our temple youth group) puts the can in PUMPCAN.

Instead of trick or treating, the older kids all got together and had a food drive collecting cans from homes for our local homeless shelter.
