I posted the original in this thread. Ashley (thegreenegg) mentioned trying a few things and this is what I ended up with. I like it a lot better than the original, thanks Ashley.

All joking aside. Nice work on the shot Chris! Glad you tried the new stuff out. I am now inspired to work more on my Gen series... after exams are over that is.

Hi Ashley,
Once I had read your original post, this is what I envisioned. I'm just glad I had enough skill to pull it off. Is this similar to what you were seeing? I liked the mood with a little less contrast (as the picture is now) than pushing the contrast to it's limits (which I usually do). I'm glad you made the suggestion and is a good reason for people to comment on other's photos.
