Here are my two, in the sweaters, Eloise (top) and Banjo (bottom), checking out the queen. Truth be told, this was at the Halloweenie "meet up" on Boston Common. There were at least 50 dachshunds, almost all in costume.

Hmm.... these are ~about 2x3 ratio instead of 4/3. BD, have you switched camera system? :-) [ <-- yes, no gear talk, PM or email please ]

The first one is the prime example of "don't crop too much." Sure, it would be a cute dog image if you concentrate on the dog, like your subsequent photos, but the first one works so much because of the people looking this way and that.

Precisely! Because as cute as this is...

    102911_HALLOWEENIES.0064sm.jpg

...it does not have a burley guy in a black leather motor cycle jacket, and what looks like rush hour foot traffic passing the queen while ignoring her. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/rolleyes1.gif" border="0" alt="" >

Well, BD....if I ever saw a picture that needed no title, this is the one. That guy putting the eye on that dog says it all. I'd give anything to read the dude's mind.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot comes to mind... :D

Great capture on a lot of levels. I really like the way the princess has one foot up and appears 'prancing' to some extent oblivious to the surround world. Or, she really doesn't care.

Like the first one. The guy in the leather jacket makes it. BUT it also would have been an intriguing shot if he were not there as everyone else is just walking by oblivious to the spectacle.
