I tried to take a more creative approach to some of my Maine shots and PP. Here are a few of them. The B&W versions were converted with Silver Efx Pro. I would really like some C&C on these.

Many thanks,
Lauren

With the exception of the second shot, I prefer the B&W versions...and not just because they're B&W.

The B&W first shot has eliminated the clutter along the front of the dock, letting the chair achieve more prominance....making it a stronger picture in my mind.

The only reason I prefer the colored second shot is that the B&W version lacks too much detail in the shadows....making it a little hard to discern what I'm looking at.

In the third shot, the B&W version enjoys a much more dramatic presentation of the sky, which greatly enhances the overall appeal to me.

I'm glad to see you posting more from your Maine excursion.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Really nice! I like the b/w conversions the best except for #5; I prefer that one in color. My fave is #4! That is NEAT!

I LOVE the B&W conversion of the chair. It eliminates all the distractions and focuses the viewer's eye on the chair itself!

#4 doesn't do it for me - but I think that's a matter of personal preference.
#6 does do it - again the removal of the colour focuses attention on the tree.

    Fun!

Thanks everyone! Eia, I wanted to do something really different with #4--glad you liked it. Andrew, thanks for looking and commenting. :D Ceci, I thought that chair shot might appeal to you. It was at my friend's camp in Maine. I have several shots of this tree with different crops--might try a B&W series with it. I think I have one of your tree also but haven't processed it yet.
