After PPE closed, some of us working the SmugMug booth went out for some night shooting. I mean, why not - snow in NYC in October, fast lights bright city, Hallowe'en parties, what else can you ask for? My attempts at street shooting. 50mm lens on a 1.6 crop, cuz that was all I had with me!

Very nice - Particularly first, fourth, and final image. Hope you enjoyed New York, despite the weirder than usual weather.

We had a lot of fun that night, but I'm not at all sure I enjoyed New York! It is certainly a busy place (I'm from somewhere where we roll the sidewalks up at night) and I can say I was terrified by each and every cab ride I took, including the second last one - to the airport, during which the cab was rear ended on an icy road.
I hope I can return some day, and do more of this!
