Lundy Canyon - Beaver Pond

I made two trips out to the beaver pond that day (10-20-11). One at 1PM and again for sunset. Sunset was a bust, but managed to get some nice images and I'll post them later.

I liked the composition and lighting in the second one more. It has a nice calm feel to it.

I prefer the tighter comp and the way the colors pop more in #1, Mike. I wonder how long it will be before that tilted tree makes makes a splash. :giggle

It must be pretty stout because I have the same tree (different comp) from about 5 years ago and it's still leaning. I wouldn't mind "helping" it a bit....
