A genuine monster

Passing by the local Elk farm I spotted this rather large bull elk.This was shot at 500mm so there is some compression between the buck and bull.Quite a difference in size.You could almost hang a hammock inside that rack.

    Seriously though, that thing is huge. Every morning on the way to work I pass about 20-30 elk in a field. They are not nearly this big.

    Thanks for the reply guys,we like to grow em big up here :D .Here is a couple of younger bulls,not quite as big but getting there.Shot last year.I realy love the sound these beasts make when they are in rutt and bugeling.....ice
