I just did a comparison of pricing for a photo if using BayPhoto. From what I see, if I order a print of anything through here, for myself, it is more expensive than if I go direct to Bay to order it.

Kinda drops the incentive to order personal photos through here.

I gather that is for SMugMug's profit on the 'sale'. I would have thought that printing for ourselves would have been at cost, given we pay an annual fee for the site. I guess not.

    Are you comparing exact apples to apples? Specifically what items are different? Please let me know. And be sure to account for color correction, and also built-in stuff on items like mounted prints, thinwraps, metal prints, etc.

    Good points. I'll go check a particular item, and be sure I have all same things in the list, and see how it compares. Will post back with details if it varies.
