My wife talked me into keeping it. Go figure.

Canon 500 f/4L IS Super Telephoto complete with all the original factory goodies including rear lens cap, front leather lens cover, manual, hard case with keys. I am also including a Realtree LensCoat and Don Zeck front lens cap.

The lens is 3 years old and looks as pristine as it did when it came out of the box new. It has seen limited use.

Due to insurance limitations, this lens is not available for shipment outside Canada. I live in Cobourg, Ontario which is about a one hour drive east of Toronto. Yes, I can ship (at the buyer's expense) if necessary but prefer a local deal if one is available.

Price: $ 5,900 Canadian

To purchase this new at this time in Ontario, taxes included, would cost $ 8,250 so my price is more than fair, particularly since the lens is like new.

Preferred method of payment would be cash, cashiers cheque or EMT. Under duress, I will consider PayPal, but only at the buyer's expense for fees. I really don't like using PayPal as they always hold and use my money for several days before paying me. I also think their fees are much too high.

The scuffs you see on the front of the case turned out to not be scratches and have been removed since the photo was taken.
