Colorado Fall Colors - 2011

Hi All,

Back in early October, I decided to take a quick day trip to Colorado for the fall colors. The weather was fantastic through the morning, as I sat in morning rush hour in Denver! Then the storm clouds moved in up in the mountains and the first snow of the season hit later that evening and into the next morning. Thought I would share some of my captures before the wind and snow did a number on the color.

Not viewing this on my best monitor, but they look lovely! There is almost an impressionist quality about them, oddly accentuated by some of the crisp borders of the barren rocks and aspen trunks. Really nice!!
