Found this guy up on the North Shore, in Haleiwa.

    Fabulous colors! Do geckos sit still for photos, or is it a quick catch kind of shot?

    They sit relatively still, but this guy was in deep shade, which necessitated a flash, and I didn't have time to grab by big flash out of my bag, so I has to use on camera. There is a noise/signal of some sort, that precedes the flash, that makes certain animals jump. Geckos and certain flies that I've noticed. There are a few shots of him moving away rapidly.

    There are also white/clear endemic geckos(the green ones are introduced/invasive) that are nocturnal, that I have yet to be able to stalk and capture anything of quality. They live around and in my house, but are much less social when it comes to people.
