Hi all, new to Dgrin, found my way around the smugmug system ok so far, but have come unstuck in one aspect, instead of opting for a slideshow, I want a single photo display, but it wont fill the display pane, the rest of the homepage/galleries stretch but this wont

Any help greatly appreciated

Those that can help would need a link to your site.

It depends on how you have the image displayed and how you want it to stretch. We'll definitely need a link to see what's going on.

Rather than stretch the image, i would prefer it to occupy the entire frame, giving the frontpage a balanced appearance.

I can't look on another screen resolution besides 1024x768 right now, but does your entire homepage increase in size proportionally with a larger screen size? headscratch.gif

Yes, the page will fill any screen from laptops to 32inch TV.

I guess the "single photo" box only takes up a certain height / width. If you'd want a photo to stretch beyond that, you can take a look at adding a stretchy slideshow:

Maybe it can be set to only show one photo if you'd like a static photo only.

I just tried it on one of my systems running 1900xsomething, and the problem I see is that the image will take up the entire screen if it is scaled. I actually didn't even know you had gallery categories below until I saw your site on this other system.

If this is what you want, I think this slideshow suggestion may be the only way to go:
