Considering the stiff competition, should I give up on this one and try again? :huh

Is this a dumb blond joke? rolleyes1.gifroflrolleyes1.gif

Seriously, I love the concept... I would change the color of the road though... don't know of to many blue roads... ne_nau.gifD

Nice! I played with the same concept last night, but yours is way better than mine turned out.

If I post it, please tell me how to make it better. My fragile ego can take it.

It's a super idea and I enjoy the crop/composition. How does it look in other color schemes?

I love the concept. Looking at the photo, I can think of several little changes that I'd be curious to see, to see if they improve the photo (e.g., color changes or even B&W, landscape orientation, maybe 4x5 ratio, maybe seeing the eyes in the mirror, knowing they're not focusing on the road), but in actuality, without seeing any of these changes, the photo works. Hits the theme right on.

Winston - it's a Bangles thing. The road is faded asphalt, but I could blacken it a bit.
Chad - I have another idea - not sure if I'm going with this one because I don't think it's strong enough. Thanks for the comment though, it made me rethink the viability it!
Leah - I really liked the cross processing on this one, but I could play with it. As I said above, I'm not sure if I am going to use it. Maybe not win-worthy?

Thanks, Greg. A re-shoot isn't possible because this daughter lives in DC and I'm in PA. She left yesterday, so no eyes. I do have another daughter and if need be, I could try again with her. I just might scrap the idea though - not sure yet, but I will take your suggestions into consideration.

It's got this great stock photo feel to it. Very nice

Just tuning in right now so don't know if you're still pursuing this, but I loved the idea right off and it fits the theme perfectly. I also agree with the others about playing with the color scheme; but I see what Froch means too about having a stock photo feel to it....maybe because of the colors. I really like it. GP

I actually have a scheduled shoot on Saturday with a totally different idea. If that one doesn't work out, I'll revisit this one. I like this one, but don't think it's strong enough for the Mega.
