Split Rock Lighthouse Photo-op

Hello,

The Split Rock Lighthouse, which is on Lake Superior about 10 miles north of Two Harbors lights its beacon once a year.

The beacon will be lit from 5pm - 6:30pm on November 10th as part of the annual commemoration of the loss of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Admission for this event is $4.

If the fog and weather cooperate this could be a nice shot. I'll be there.....

Cool. That just happens to be one of the days I am already planning on being up on the north shore. Will have to stop by for sure.
