Well,

I have my first photo shoot scheduled for tomorrow.

I am sooo excited... this really is a chance of a life time for me.

I met a guy who is willing to not only let me use his studio, but also teach me the lighting and some tricks of the trade. I am very excited.

Did I mention he's doing all this for free???? :clap :lust :clap

Yes... I have a willing model as well :) maybe 2

Time to use everything i've learned here....

Wish me luck,

Steven

    ok...

    where to begin..

it was definately a new experience for me. I have shot people before, but never in a studio... so i had a lot to learn.

Lighting.... backdrops... positions... watch for shadows.... the list is endless

but none the less... I gave my 717 a workout it's never had before...

Here's one to start... more to follow as I filter through all 400 images

First off nice shotthumb.gif The eyes and eye lashes are very sharp as well as the rest of the pic.

Now I'm by NO MEANS an expert on this but as a casual viewer I would think with her hair color and eye color her skin would be a little darker. She seems to be of Italian or Hispanic decent and I just imagine a darker skin tonene_nau.gif

Thanks for posting this and take my critique with a grain of salt cuz I know nothing about portrait shooting:):

    Can't wait to see more,
