Interesting. Certainly not your typical photo. From an artistic standpoint, I rather like it. . .the lines, colors, shadows. . .I find it rather pleasing other than the fact that I think it's making me a little dizzy, because my brain keeps trying to turn the image rightside up. . .or upside down depending on your point of view. In some ways, though, the kayaker doesn't seem to be an important part of the photo, though without him there, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be the same.

So, rather than trying to analyze it too much, I'll just say my initial impression is that I like it, and that sounds like success to me.
