    thanks all :D.

They were sitting in the middle of the city chaos, sharing a smoke.
Scenes don't always hit me, but this one slapped me and I just knew I had to try and make it work.

It was an extremely bright day around 1:30, so the light was a little difficult, but I'm pleased with the result.

Well, you really made the light work for you in this one, and that's no small accomplishment, as it does indeed look like difficult lighting.

    I love it
Liz, I really love this shot!

However, I think it might benefit from a bit of vignetting. This is what I mean...

Nice likeable shot as previous comments noted.

BUT you have some processing "artifacts" on the guys hand and forearm. It caught my attention early trying to figure out what was on his hand. My conclusion is that is his skin/hair that transformed with the recovery/black/contrast/brightness... sliders.

    Thank you Scott,
No they didn't. It's such a crowded area.
I very badly wanted to capture their relaxed state before being noticed.

    Richardman, you guessed it.
I wanted to catch a shot of them passing it back and forth, they were sharing the same cigarrette, but this was the better shot. It was his turn:)

    Thank you.
None of my shots in the shade worked from that day due to the contrast between the light and shady areas. I am glad these did though.

I'm not anti vignette as I have used it quite often

But I like this one as is. Can't bring myself to touch it.

    Thank you though:)

    Rainbow,
he's smoking, armed draped over his head and the cigarette dangling from his fingertips. What you see is smoke. It is hard to see the cigarette. When she held it (as they passed it between them) it was more evident as she was holding it in the traditional way, leg crossed, head back, thumb, ring finger and pinky touching as she held the cigarette between the index and middle finger..

But I liked this shot the best.
