Well, she's a natural, isn't she! #2 stands out for me. I love that shot. iloveyou.gif

Really lovely - great use of light, and pretty processing of an enchanting child. What more could we want? :)

yeah, #2 is my favorite too. You captured a great expression and really showed off her personality. And the toning works beautifully. And the rim light really sets her off.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. Hackbone, they were both shot at 2.5 maybe I should use alittle more DOF next time.

The bokeh in #3 is fantastic! However the lack of focus throws the shot off a bit.

I agree #2 is very nice and I love her expression in that one, but those big brown eyes in #1 are so cute :)

Agree with #2, but I kind of like the out of focusness (yup, just made up a word!) of #3. It gives it a bit of a dreamy look and makes me feel like I'm there with her but not quite...

Indeed 1 & 3 are technically not ok... It is missing the sharpness on the eyes.
The eyes are the reflection of the sole. So, always point at the eyes to have them sharp.

1&3 are also very central pictures, not bringing any added value to this beautiful child.

2 is very nice, well done.
