locked or unlocked

I've recently had someone contact me about a gallery that I thought could not be found (it is a hidden gallery). Well, they were able to find it through a smugmug search.

My questions....

1. I have a few galleries that I have hidden. Those galleries have external links turned on because I use them to post to my blog. If I lock those galleries, will the images still show up on my blog, or will that mess up my ability for the external links to work with the blog posts?

2. My homepage slideshow gallery is a hidden gallery. Can I also lock this gallery, or will that make the slideshow on the homepage stop working?

unlisted or pwd protected galleries won't show up in search. Please email our heroes with details so we can help you here http://help.smugmug.com thanks. You can hide the slideshow gallery just be sure ext links are enabled.
