Since I won't have time to set up a shoot just for LATE, I htought I'd draw on other things I've shot this week. Here's the best fit for late. Does it work at all? I know its not win-worthy, but my goal (no pun intended) is to just participate, given my lack of time this week.

I'm shooting Men's Soccer Championships and a local edition of Extreme Makeover tomorrow. Maybe something will come form them.

Thanks for your opinions.

Great shot - her eyes lead you right to the ball and she is clearly a touch late.thumb.gif

Great shot! Fits the challenge well. One thought (if you have time) is to darken the far left side (just to the left of her foot) and the windows a bit to help the viewer focus on her face and the ball. Or add a subtle vignette perhaps.

Nice shot Chris! I love her eyes on the ball.
Was this a singe frame or one of a series? If a series, what does the frame just before this look like?

    Thanks for the comments.

Gretchen, I haven't really done much in PP. I was thinking of using the gradient tool, so thanks for your comment.

Froch- The frame before this one was great, except that you couldn't tell if the ball had crossed the plane of the goal AND her eyes were mostly closed.

Great action shot and fits theme well. I agree with Gretchen if you have a chance to darken the left side where the blue is a little bit distracting from the action. GP

Thanks for the input everyone. I did some cropping and toning to draw you to the goalie's face.

It's appropriate that i am here at the last minute!!
