these were taken last year in Orange County NY. in the Bear Mountain/west Point part of the Hudson Valley.
for those not from this neck of the woods we're one hour north of NYC.
It was a cloudless day with bright blue skies and 75 degree temps. A pretty rare day for color and sunlight and temps.
the current challenge has prompted me to float them here for viewing.

That house is about 2 years old. there was an old house there with old cars and lawnmowers all over the place that was abandoned. someone bought the property and bulldozed it and built a new house and the new owner gets the old trees.

Those are some beautiful shots, the colors just jump out at me.
With a little water on the pavement and all those loose leaves make for some seriously slippery roads.
