Although I've done it too, I'm always on the fence about taking a photo of someone else's art and calling it art. Not trying to be critical - this is just something that always comes to mind when I see this type of shot.

That being said you've clearly taken it out of context and made it a "what the..?" shot.

It does leave one wondering more about the setting......

The Hand is a sculpting of mine , a photo of which I found on my hard drive, so I just played around with it a little - was thinking of re-doing the drops of iron you see around (it's cast iron) in blood red in Halloween's honor, but another time for that. The weird crevice at the top of the hand is because I'm not very good at mold-making and the molton iron "exploded" a bit in that spot during the pour. But keep those accidents I always say.

that's really wild/wierd looking. "What the ..." doesn't even begin to describe it.

Yeah, it is pretty odd looking, I admit that, but Spooks Days is arriving so the weirder the better.

Stop Casting Porosity! Ok, I've seen that on a sign before and always wanted
to use it in a sentence :D

Cool picture and even cooler that you are casting molten metal.
