Gallery Description

I'm having a problem with missing gallery descriptions. When I'm actually inside the gallery the descriptions appear, but on the front page or when viewing galleries from the outside i have a several galleries that do not show descriptions.

if you look at photos.willamettetrack.com and scroll down to Galleries you will see several galleries with out descriptions. I've also attached a screen grab of the missing descriptions

I'm assuming there is some setting I'm missing somewhere but I can't find it.

NCAA West region, that gallery is set to "clean" in gallery settings. Un check that. Same for Linfield.
