How to change default screen mode

How do I change the default screen mode in lightroom3? I prefer the normal screen mode because it always shows me what catalog I'm am currently in. But for some reason it keeps defaulting to full screen with menu bar. How do I change that?

in menu go to
window > screenmode
put a checkmark at normal

exit and start LR again
it should me normal then
