Like new Averatec AV3360-EH1 512MB 80GB 12.1" DVD +/-RW with WiFi (IEEE 802.11g)

I bought this laptop in April in preparation for a two-week vacation to France so I could download photos and process them with Photoshop CS2. It met my needs for that splendidly but has just been sitting and collecting dust since I got back. Running time on the battery is a little over 3 hrs although I'm sure that fluctuates with the amount of activity too. Cosmetically, it's virtually perfect and only has the faintest of scuff marks from being tucked into my Tamrac bag a few timesand - no cracks, missing rubber feet or any other significant dings. This laptop comes standard with 512MB Ram (with 1 free slot for another 512) but the performance actually surprised me and CS2 was very responsive processing my D70 6MB RAW files (ymmv) Also please note the laptop will be completely wiped of all data and software using the bundled "Recovery Media CD" and will be restored back to factory settings which includes MS Windows XP Home Edition with SP2. A small (not mini) Compaq USB mouse is included.

If you shop around please make sure you're comparing the same model (AV3360-EH1). It looks to still be going for $1150-1300 range with the bulk being $1200+ after taxes and shipping costs. If it doesn't sell here, I'll list it on Ebay next weekend (10/29) with a starting price of $499 and a Buy It Now of $899. For dgrinners I'll take $875 (whoopee I know). Shipping via USPS Priority Mail will be $25 in the 48 states which includes insurance - contact me if you're in Hawaii or Alaska. Due to the hassle of complying with import/export regs, I'm only going to sell this in the US (although I could be bribed...)
