My new favorite gallery... until I do another one anyway. If you have never clicked on the full gallery this would be the one where you may want to :).
All natural light with the D3 and the 85 1.4.

These are spectacular. I love the vibrant colors of her clothes contrasting with the more bland backgrounds... also love how you shot it so shallow, and yet she is so crispy sharp. Such nice light.

    Yup! What Heather said :)

ETA: Zooms, what focal lengths/settings, particularly in ones like #1 where you have SO much separation between subject and bg?

    Love it, crisp and sharp.
My favorite is picture 2, simple because of the color arrangement , pose and background.
Picture 1, 3 although technically ok are having a mismatch with the overall theme, that is to say "Fall" as such the red top is sticking out. On the other hand you might have intended to create this contradiction to bring some tension into the picture.

    Good job..

    Thanks for the comments.
All with the 85 1.4. I think the first shot was at 1.8...none were smaller than f2.
Well I try to match the color with the settings.. then I try to arrange the scene so the model is the subject and not overpowered by anything in the scene. Especially with such a dominant red shirt...I didn't do much with the background colors as it tended to even things out to much then the eye wanders around in the frame. Yes this does as you said, create some energy in the shot.
In 1 3 and 4 the scenes create natural framing effects for the subject.

I think the red color is creating a great contrast.. adds this flame to the fall. awesome work!

As always, very inspiring. The color framing and depth of field is so well utilized and balanced.

Entire set is killer Zoom, with # 3 as the top of the mark.
