Shot of a female red throated hummingbird at the feeder. I set the camera on a tripod about 2 feet from the feeder and using a 50ft wired remote switch to trip the camera. The shot was taken with a Digital Rebel and a Sigma 105 f2.8 macro lens and using the built-in camera flash. EXIF= manual mode, f9, 1/200 sec.
Had to shoot about 50 shots to end up with one really good one (IMHO).

Excellent shots Cy. clap.gif It doesn't matter how many shots you take as long as you get one keeper.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Thanks Harry
I really like this forum. I've been lurking on the dpreview forum for a long time. I couldn't register with them because my ISP woudn't accept email from them for some reason or another. After finding this forum and reading some of the posts, I got the feeling this is a much friendlier site.
