I had to go back and look at the exif. I had my AF-S 28-300mm f3.5-5.6 VRII refurbished lens @ 200mm f5.6 on my D300 my D7000 had my big lens on the tripod shooting the other way. But the sun was comiing up through the fog so I grabbed the backup. If you need a great zoom telephoto it is a great lens. My old 75-300mm f4.5-5.6 was acting up and I had 2 weddings coming up and needed a long range zoom NikonUSA had them in the Outlet refurbished. I had tried new copies out at camera shops. But it really suprised me the sharpness at 300mm and close focusing 18inches. Also works great for video becuase it is AF-S. It is much better super zoom than the 18-200mm
