I found this:

i-Mhf3fVF-X2.jpg
Canon 7D, 300L f4 w/2x converter f8 @ 1/750, ISO 3200 on a monopod,
from my dining room, manual focus.

In my backyard Sunday, which is not normal. It was taking a bath in our drained pool prior to sitting on the swing set. It hung around for quite awhile. I was really hoping it would make an afternoon snack out of one of the many pesky squirrels that frequent my yard. (I hate squirrels now, last year they chewed up my roof).

Very nice "find". I get the sharpies in my yard once in a while and it is a real treat. Lovely shot!

Thanks for the comments, I wasn't sure what kind of hawk it was, so it's nice to know that.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
