I read that yesterday. I wish they didn't equivocate so much between the Sigma and Tamron version of those lenses. Come right out and say that the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 is better than the Tamron counterpart (if it is). The same is true with several of the other lenses where they basically call it a toss-up.

When it comes to third party lenses, sometimes you have to choose a compromise. With the 70-200, you either get great AFS and lesser IQ like the Sigma or with Tamron you get slow AFS and better IQ.
