D is for dilapidated, dangerous, dingy, decadent, destitute.

    add "direct" and "demanding" rolleyes1.gif

I like #4 very much for dilapidated.

The B*W you posted looks pretty flat to me, just fyi and the others don't grab my attention like #4 does.

+1. #4 stood out to me as well. The simple lines/angles draw the eye into the image, making it stronger than the rest.

    Okay Don,

I'm really not feeling it... the images look to cluttered to me, no real center of focus except maybe #1 even still it kind of takes over the whole picture... If I were shooting these buildings, I would concentrate on windows, doors, close ups, wide angles and further away shots of the whole place... different perspectives... I would walk all around shooting different facades and angles... and I always like to fix the distortion in photoshop squaring some of the angles if possible... #4 might have some potential... anyway for what it's worth... You probably did all that stuff and decided these 4 were your best...

Just trying to give more feedback when I have the time... :D

I also like the reworked #4 but wonder what it would look like if the saturation was dropped, like an old faded photo.

    Try the less saturated look:
