Hurricane Irene was felt all over the east coast. This shot is of the Falls Village, CT waterfall, on the approach to the falls.
Critiques always wanted and accepted.

I like it. Rather abstract, but the lines and colors work quite nicely. A couple critiques, though. Although I think the branches towards the bottom of the frame work quite well. . .it really gives the image a wonderful dynamic of the small branches trying to withstand the torrential flow of water. The ones in the very top right don't work well, however. With the magic of Photoshop, I'm sure you could clone those out without too much trouble. Also, a bit more minor, but there are some very faint vertical lines in the top left corner that although almost invisible do detract somewhat from the beautiful flow of the water. That should be even easier to take care of with the clone or spot healing brush.

    Anyway, nice job!
