got my new D3s thursday, left friday on a weekend get away, just in time as this week the temps dropped and the snow arrived, explored the Gunflint Trail in Minnesota and stumbled upon 3 BE's sitting in trees, wanted to get the BE in flight but they wouldn't cooperate, they flew off in the opposite direction and behind the trees

Congratulations with your D3S ! That is one hell of a camera. I have mine since 1 year and need to say that I love it. Especially try the high iso values. Its amazing.
Nice trial pictures, although I see some strange effects on the edges of the background elements. Maybe because you sharpened the pictures a bit to much ?

You're off to a good start. The D3s is the sweetest camera I've owned so far. Now if they could just make it a tad lighter.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
