I've taken a few pictures yesterday at the NY Botanical Gardens and contemplating if any of these could work:

Nice shots, they could probably work, but has anyone noticed that the theme "nature" seems to be about plants, flowers, as interpreted by us?

I say that because I took flower shots yesterday. I would have taken them, gorgeous WILD flowers, but still..............they are flowers.

Then I thought this whole thing is flowers.

(Mine are not "normal", they are impressionistic, but they are still flowers)

Oh, for a macro lens.............and it is pouring rain here in SC today.

    ginger (just some thoughts)

I think this time of year, at least in the Northeast, brings out the beauty of plant life.

If these photos were taken during the challenge period they may also be candidates of natures colors in the animal category:

Yes, I was thinking bright bird, too. But I would have to go to a zoo. It is sooo bad today, and my husband goes back out of town tonight.

May go somewhere and share a hamburger, then go take a few rainy photos, but the only color I can think of around here right now, especially in the rain, is flowers......?

I like the idea of the bird and fish.

Sure wish I had a macro lens, right now! I have a thought, but I would need a macro!

Of yours I like the first two best, but I don't think you are "there" yet.
