Looks like I just bought a Tokina 11-16 for my full frame D700. (getting it this weekend.)

I wanted a wide angle. I guess I will only be able to get 16 out of it with my D700.

Do any of you have any sample shots that are full length from a low profile that you have done with a wide angle?

I've got a Sig 10-20 and when I mounted it to the D700, the screen inside automatically adapts for the DX lens. Kind of cool so you'll see what you are framing. I understand the pixel count drops considerably however, down to like 5mp.

I just bought a Nikon 24-70. I will primarily use this lens for portraits, jube, pre/post game etc but I thought I might be able to use it for some wide angle variation shots on the baseline too. We will see how it goes.

    Mark,

    Here's a shot taken from behind the baseline with a Nikon D700 + 24-85 f/2.8-4 zoomed to 32 mm.

This is my first post on this forum. I'm hoping it goes through without a hitch!

    Thanks Bob,

I am going to try some wide angle shots the first games of the year and see how I like them.
