Kick the tires and light the fires, eh?

Lots of Canadians out at NAF El Centro today. I spent the afternoon out on runway 26. More to follow.

    Terrific shots! "Jet power is the sound of freedom" and you gave us some good examples. My favorites are the logjam shot and the last one. How did you get such great access? What were you shooting with?

    Thanks, and I just noticed I have two threads out there with these pics I thought I modified the original, but apparently I created a second thread.

    Anyway, I'm shooting with a Canon 7D and using either a 70-200 F/2.8 IS L, a 400mm F/5.6l, a 10-22 EF-s or my 28-135 EF-s. I wish I brought my 5D Mk2 body. I could have used it.

    As far as access, I'm just fortunate to know some people who can get a few of us on the runway for a few hours every once in a while.
