Gallery catergories

Drawing a blank here, but how do you change the settings on a Gallery Catergory ? thanks for any help

Tools>Gallery Settings and you can change the category there.

Categories themselves don't have settings. They only have a name which can be changed in the control panel. If you meant settings for a gallery, then Andy's response tells you how to do that.

I guess i said the wrong thing, my gallery looks locked to outside people and to myself, how can I get to not show it's locked ? Here's the link to my page

You can feature a photo - tools>this photo>feature photo that will replace the padlock thumbnail.

Go to the gallery.
Find the photo you want to feature as the thumbnail
Choose Tools Button
Choose "this photo>more>feature"

you can see that I did it for you in the first gallery in that category.

Each gallery will have its own featured photo - not ONE photo for all galleries in the category.

why are my other catergories showing a photo ? how can i unlock the catergory ?

Your category is showing a photo.


You can't "unlock a category" but you can unlock any (or all) galleries in the category by going to tools>gallery settings and removing the password.
