Slideshow loops back to beginning 1/2 way through...

I've not seen this happen to any of my galleries before now, and it only happens on SOME PCs, but it's pretty annoying (and potentially harmful to business) - with the galleries found at this link http://www.sellingpointimages.com/Weddings/ReynoldsBurdette (pw is "sarah"), the slideshow plays fine for several images. But, rather than play through EVERY image in the gallery, it goes back to the first photo and starts to play again. Anybody know why that might be?

As it stand now, I have to warn my clients to really pay attention to how many images they're seeing when the slideshow plays, or else they may miss some of their images (thinking they've seen them all, but really they haven't). Would love to get this resolved...thanks!!

Andrea

    Hi Andrea,

Can you give us some more details such as does the slideshow restart at the same image each time? Or does it seem to happen randomly? There's an issue that we're currently looking into around custom image sizes that could be causing the problem with the slideshow for you.

Can you let us know if this is affecting any specific browser for you? If so which browser?

Hmmm...I'd be interested in finding out some details on this. I've got hundreds of slideshows on my main site.

It doesn't happen on any of my PCs, so it's hard for me to reproduce the issue "at will". As far as I recall, I believe it was stopping at the same image each time. And I do believe that it was Internet Explorer every time it happened. Hope that helps.

Can you check or have the person in question check that they have the latest version of Flash installed? It's available from here:
    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Also what specific version of Internet Explorer are they using? If it's an older version, updating it might help.

If the person is using a wireless connection, a hard-wired cable connection might provide better results.

The last two galleries (reception and ceremony) have external links turned off. You may want to try enabling external links if you experience an issue with the slideshow in password protected galleries to see if that helps.
