Keeping Bio Pic out of slideshow

I like to have my home page with the slideshow on top, set to 'most recent'. I recently updated my bio picture, so that starts displaying in the slide show. How can I exclude the bio picture from being displayed in the slideshow but keep the 'most recent' setting?

    You try keeping the Bio Pic in an unlisted gallery? That should keep it out of the resents.

    Nice thought, but no..it's the default 'My SmugMug' gallery and set to unlisted already.

    Only you as the logged in account owner should see photos from unlisted galleries in the slideshow. Try it logged out as a visitor. If you still have any questions, include a link to your homepage so we could take a look.

    Already tried it as visitor..the bio is the second item on the home page below the slideshow. if I set it to unlisted then the text for the bio shows but the picture in the bio disappears. If set to listed, then the picture re-appears but also shows in the slideshow above.

    I've since uploaded some new pictures so the slideshow shows those first, but my bio pic is still in the slideshow, about three clicks to the right (the third set of slideshow photos).

    Your bio photo is in a public gallery:

    That means its gallery will show up on your homepage for visitors and photos from the gallery will be included in your homepage slideshow. If you don't want that you'll need to change the gallery to unlisted in the gallery settings > security&privacy section.
