I been led to believe that this collar is only available in the States only?

Is this true

    The Kirk NC-300 Replacement Lens Collar/Nikon 300mm f/4 AF-S Lens is a highly specialized device and it may be difficult to find dealers for the product. I don't see any trade restrictions for the product so I think it's just a matter of low demand (why many dealers do not carry the product).

    I do not see any Kirk dealers in Australia, which may be the reason why you find it difficult to locate the product. There are dealers in other countries besides the USA:
