Sharpening LR3 or PSE

I've been using LR3 since day one and sharpen in the develop mode (sometimes known as capture sharpening) and then when publishing or exporting, I use the sharpen for print or screen feature. So far, I've been happy with the results but "I don't know what I don't know".

For example, many people use LR for nearly everything except sharpening....they export the image to PS and use USM or other sharpening techniques. I'm well aware that each person may sharpen differently. Am I missing the obvious?

I guess what I want to know is this: For landscape photos, is there any advantage to leaving LR and sharpening in PS?

Thanks...Tony

LR's sharpening is tops, based on the work of this author and its multiple step process: http://www.creativepro.com/story/feature/20357.html
Its non destructive, easy to use and the output sharpening is based on the capture sharpening found in Develop. What LR is missing thus far is capture sharpening which is optional.

Andrew, I think you meant "What LR is missing thus far is creative sharpening which is optional." ?

A basic creative sharpening can be achieved via the use of sharpen slider in the adjustment brush tool in Lightroom...

    maybe try some additional sharpening
most people [ at least i do ] save the final JPG at smaller size as original
    this may dullen a bit
applying a bit of smart sharpening to the JPG in PS can sometimes make a different
