I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thanks for looking in. This door/gate leads into a courtyard of a home in St. Augustine, FL. Many times, I'm able to see into the courtyard from another vantage point....but not in this case. The wall around this courtyard is very high. What's behind this door is a mystery.

Colors are fabulous

That door is rather colorful, isn't it? You'll notice that those " thingies " are also present at the top of the door. If I had to guess, I'd say that they were washers and nuts for bolts that extend through the door and secure bracing for the door ( that would be visible from the other side ).
Take care, Happy Holidays,
Tom
Oops .. didn't see the ones at the top till you mentioned them.
Happy Holidays to you too

Very nice comp and colors
If I had to come-up with a small nit, it would be that the image leaves me just a tad wanting for a touch more head and foot room. It gives me the impression of a bit too tight crop. All the same, a nice image indeed!
Thanks for the generous remarks, Randy. I hear you about the tight crop, I, myself, wanted to provide a little more headroom. Unfortunately, about 6 inches out of view to the top, they were rebuilding the upper portions of the courtyard wall. At the bottom, I was hiding some construction debris.
I'm always open to " nits " or suggestions you may have. In this case, I'm just thankful as hell that you didn't blast me over showing the pretty, little red flowers.:D
Really neat find, love all the bright colors and beautiful Foliage.
Had to be a neat place to see !!!

Thanks for looking in, Don. I'm blessed to be in area that's certainly " target rich " in old doors and windows....some of which can be several hundred years old.
