Hey guys,
I haven't been around much lately because we recently moved to a different apartment in Madrid and that has been taking up all of my time. We're finally getting settled in a bit so I've begun to catch up on my my backlog:

Like the composition with the intense gaze. Interesting processing -- looks like you chose to deepen the blacks and eliminate some grey tones.

I frequently use curves in an overlay mode to increase contrast, and that does tend to push the midtones aside. The harp and the musician's clothing were completely black, so it's natural that the blacks dominate here. But I wasn't trying to eliminate anything.
Yes, the musician was a guy, but I won't speculate on what the kid was smitten by .
Maybe music????
