Well, the 2011 season has ended. I attended the penultimate round in Abu Dhabi, just managed to process the shots and would like to share with you some of it.

    Wow... I so want to attend one of these again some day. I saw the F1 guys 1984 when they were in Fair Park/Dallas Tx for the Dallas Gran Prix race.

    These are great shots IMO and I'd tend to favor the landscapes shots up close and personal with the cars. Approx how far away from the track were you with that 400mm?

    Beautiful work, #4 looks like he is going airborne with the lighting/shadows..very cool. Each image looks like poster material.

    Thanks. The track runs in front of the grandstand where I'm sitting twice. All pictures above are taken from the furthest of the two, I would say 200m away.
