Whatever you end up with, my I please implore you not to emulate anne geddes? Please please please please please. I'm not sure my stomach can take more creepy sleeping baby shots. eek7.gif

Head over to your favorite corporate book megastore and pick up Through the Lens: National Geographic's Greatest Photographs. Or just go to Amazon and get it.

Plenty of famous shots in there. Good luck!

Literally anything. It just has to be pretty famous or maybe recognizable (or perhaps just by a famous photog), and I have to be able to replicate. Ones with famous people oin them are hard cause I dont know anyone who looks like those famous people, and urban street scenes are difficult cause I live in suburban Orange County etc......

    I've always like this one.

    marines_flag.jpg
    Photographer - Joe Rosenthal
<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD align=right>Title:</TD><TD>Marines of the 28th Regiment of the 5th Division Raise the American Flag Atop Mt. Suribachi, Iwo Jima,</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

    Can you be creative?
Maybe have friends tapping a keg?
Or maybe a flag with school colors?
    Dentists and a giant toothbrush.

    Photographers and a tripod.

I think you get the idea.
    dave.

The problem with all of these great photographs, is that I need 7 or 8 models in costume or something.....not so easy.

Also, it cannot be a mock of the photograph. It has to be like the original image.ne_nau.gif

There is a wonderful collection of famous photographs in a book with the title: Icons of 20th Century Photography. It is an inexpensive paperback and has hundreds of instantly recognizable classics. You're sure to find many worth replicating. I got my copy at Borders. Here is an Amazon link...

Somebody in my class already took that idea.

They also took my other idea of a soldier being shot during the Spanish Civil war. Probably one of the most famous war photographs.
